Indian Embassy in Berlin provides a variety of services, including Passport Visa and OCI Services, Attestation/Power of Attorney, and Indian Birth Certificate for new-born children living abroad and assisting Indians in the emergency situation.

In May 2002, the Consulate General of India in Munich was established, having operational authority over the two southern German states of Bavaria and Baden Württemberg. The Consulate provides diplomatic, business, and other services to the Indian & German citizens in Bavarian and Baden-Württemberg citizens.

The India Embassy in Hamburg, Germany assists the Indian government in maintaining bilateral connections with the German government on cultural, social, and economic fronts. The consulate offers a variety of services, including the issuance of Indian visas to visitors and the Indian passports are issued and renewed to Indians residing in Hamburg, Bremen, Lower Saxony, and Schleswig Holstein.
